Fiber Laser Cutting Machine Maintenance Measures In Winter

Since November, winter in China has begun, with temperatures getting lower and many areas in the north experiencing heavy snowfall. When the temperature drops and the weather turns cold, it is necessary to take corresponding anti freezing measures to ensure the normal operation of the fiber laser cutting machine in winter.


1. In winter, the weather is cold and the temperature is very low. If the ambient temperature is too low, it may cause the chiller pipeline to freeze and damage the core components of the fiber laser cutting machine. To address this issue, the following protective measures should be taken.
It is recommended to keep the temperature of the chiller and equipment above 0 ℃ to prevent freezing.
If the temperature does not exceed 0 ℃, please keep the equipment cool and the chiller turned on. If the water in the pipeline keeps flowing, it can prevent freezing. Of course, in this situation, there is also a certain risk of icing if the chiller is shut down for a long time due to malfunction or power outage.
If none of the above methods work, antifreeze can be added to the chiller. You don't need to add too much refrigerant, just 25%. After adding antifreeze, it can withstand -20 ℃ without freezing.


2. Due to the different climates in the northern and southern hemispheres, some regions have humid and rainy winters, resulting in a humid air environment. Excessive humidity inside the fiber laser cutting machine can cause condensation of internal components of the laser. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the humidity of the surrounding environment of the laser. After turning on the main power supply of the laser, before laser emission, open the accompanying control cabinet and run the air conditioning for 30 minutes to prevent moisture damage to the components inside the cabinet.

3. If the fiber laser cutting machine is not used for a long time in winter, the water in the water tank will deteriorate due to long-term non replacement, or freeze due to low temperature, thereby damaging the metal laser cutting machine parts. In order to ensure the normal operation of the laser sheet metal cutting machine, before stopping use, all the water in the water tank should be drained, one end of the small water pipe should be removed, and all the water should be blown out with air. When restarting, first check if the machine is frozen and if the room temperature is above 0 degrees.

Everyone can use fiber laser cutting machines in the cold winter. As long as anti freezing measures are taken, the fiber laser cutting machine can work normally.
